A beautiful low D tabor pipe made by Yuri, NZ. This short video was taken just after the end of the (very) long pipe's trip, from New Zeland to Italy. The BIG instrument is one octave below the better known "small" version, D tabor pipe, of the size of a D tin whistle . Perfectly tuned, produces a sweet, mellow sound, very uncommon among these instruments...The video has been taken using my daughter's camera so doesn't put in evidence the beauty of the pipe sound....

Very nice sound indeed, even through the filter of a camcorder. Waiting for more videos!
