Some thoughts on Capitalism

Just a short video reply to a dscussion about Communism Capitalism prejudice and jealousy

I just thought about something. Communism simply promises the extermination of rich people and the abolishon of private ownership. But after people in certain countries have actually done that they go around complainig why everyone is suddenly so poor, and no one posseses anything, and say that, that's not what they wanted to get by supporting Communism. Wrong that is EXACTLY what you wanted. Oh you are saying that you did want that, but where hoping to become one of those Party members, who are allowed to keep all those nice things that they stole from others... well too bad (-:

Someone told me again:

"Communism has'nt killed as many as Capitalism,which is still killing thousands daily."

That sentence is correct, but it doesn't make a lot of sense - for you might as well say: "people with black skin have killed more people than Communism". Again this sentence is correct - but it doesn't make sense, for it was not their skin color that made them murderers.

Their skin color is unrelated to their moral character. If someone is black he might be a murderer, or he might be a very good person. Likewise if someone has a huge bank account and a lot of land and factories he might be a murderer or he might be a very good person.

Those things are not the cause of killings - but greed, hate and prejudice are. Communism on the other hand is designed to arouse those emotions in humans - so it CAN act as the cause for killings.

China has allready been invaded. Communism cam from Germany and Russia and invaded China. It came with false promises and is now enslaving the people, killing people, exploiting people.

@Supenmanu The analogy doesn't work; Because it is both systems (the set of institutional arrangements that comprise them) that kill people. Funnily enough it seems that systemically induced/aggravated starvation is the number one killer in both cases.

Your comment is ignorance that just doesn't coincide with logic. Clearly you have read no material relating to leftist political value and if you believe degenerated workers states or authoritarian pseudo-socialist states represent communism then you are mistaken. Please back up your comments with more than just your opinion, if you wish to have a conversation on politics PM me, but a comments section is not an appropriate format for such discussion.

You cannot generalize people like that. Communists need to take the higher ground & try to ignore the ignorant products of capitalist society that distract them. By "ignorant products" I'm referring to the ignorant people in society who do not wish to learn or understand and are fine with believing propaganda and being a sheep.

Being content with capitalism does not make you ignorant, it just means you don't care. (You don't care for those who are hurt by capitalism etc) PM me your thoughts ;)
