I love this video what great musicicians and fantastic lyrics. Sung from the heart and knowledge, like my mom lived it when she wrote this but this live performance brings the song much deeper and understanding fo what my mom Shirley Lewis is all about.

This is the Shirley Lewis I know and love. There's such a deep well of soul here. She sure does bring out the crazy best in me too. I was honored to know her @ UMC Newton and sing w/ her several times over the years. So looking forward to her tribute and roast this weekend!

Thank you Angela! I agree 100 percent about your mom. She's the real deal, and it was my honor to play bass with her for so many gigs! Heart is true. Shirley told me so much about you and is so proud of you, too. I hope some day we can meet.
