The "French" (rather: Scandinavian) Normans were very mighty. It is no shame having been conquered by them. The French have been so too.

I do believe that revolution has its place. Only through a well coordinated revolution can progress come. Look at great societies through history, none came about peacefully. War is a horrible thing to live through, but inevitable in some cases. Although it would be a great thing to accomplish our mission peacefully.
