i think that's the hardest part for people in relating to god - prayer.. they don't know how to talk to him. it's not the use of superfluous words, but just TALKING. most people don't know or really care to know how to talk to each other - how much more important is it to talk to GOD? and yet we see and hear people on mobile phones today talking.. about nothing, just to be talking. time to put down the mobile phone and pick up the horn to the lord.

I am blessed to have gotten to see Keith play in St. Louis when I was a kid.
And I remember crying when I found out he had passed.

I really wish I could have been alive to see him live.... His music is so glorifying

Keith, enjoy the presence of the Lord. You worked for Him and your works testify each day. Your ministry glorifies God all the way.

Twenty years or so ago the Lord used this song to revive my spirit. Thanks for this post!

This is the ultimate prayer for any believer! What an anointing of the Spirit he had...so sad this prophet was taken from us so young...yet as Melody so gracefully pointed out...lest a grain of wheat fall to the ground, it is unable to bear fruit. Keith has born much fruit...

Very well said, reagangal!
I think Keith and Jim Elliott, who died two decades earlier, were men of uncommon passion and devotion, who died far too young (in our human reasoning).
When I read Jim Elliott's devotional or hear Keith sing/pray/preach, it leaves me ashamed at the shallowness of my own faith.
Keith and Jim continue to cast such great shadows many years after their deaths. They were short-lived flames that burned with white hot intensity, all to the glory of God and Christ.
