From an 8mm movie taken by my father near Toledo, Ohio (most likely at Holland, Ohio) on the New York Central mainline. Shows eastbound Pacemaker and then the all-Pullman 20th Century Limited pass at high speed.

  • None of these look like Holland Ohio at all.

  • @jamcgar Don't you use economic rationalism when your money is at stake Sir ?

Why should others do differently ? Aren't they entitled to use their money as freely as you do with yours ?

Why do people like you keep asking others to do what they wouldn't for a minute : losing money ?

  • @jamcgar, I think change is actually for the worse!!! People

  • @traindude80 You got THAT right!!! Amtrak's a PATHETIC JOKE!!!! How I wish I could go back to the glory days of passenger trains!!! Unfortunately, Those days are LONE GONE FOREVER!!!

  • Thanks for posting.

So sad that economic rationalism has taken all of these trains away from us.

As I keep saying, change is rarely for the better.
