@jeremyellismusic Thanks for the advice. I have my maschine on an adjustable laptop stand I bought at Walgreens for $15. It works great and you can also adjust the slope of the table. Thanks for teaching. Your music is awesome.

Not to get to technical but can you give any advice on ergonomics: maschine height in reference to waist or body and slope of maschine. I see you normally have it at your waist.

@dyc1000 I've been working on that, mostly borrowing from piano technique and watching some table videos on youtube. I move my Maschine & laptop around the house with me and have been trying to keep the wrist and hand curve at the same relaxed angle they would be if I was playing piano. Basically, the shape that your hand and wrist make when dangling at your side. Keep that general position no matter where you have your controller and avoid stressful or painful positions. Hope that helps!

Thanks for another. This current series feels a bit like Hanon for the finger drummer. The basics can't be gone over too much. What I really want to know is was that beat straight sliced or were parts taken out at all. Read the link facebook page by the way. Thanks for continuing to contribute.

@monkprophet Hey, M. Prophet. Yeah, this exercise is super-Hanon-ish. I was also influenced by the Schmitt exercises, which I always found to more awkward and therefore maybe even better for you. To avoid copyright infringement, I've sliced up a section of my own track. One measure cut into 16 slices, with nothing added or subtracted. You are welcome; My pleasure!
