  • Hey Matt, if you don't mind can you give me a good metal or hard rock setting on the Peavey 15. Thanks man your an awesome player.

  • thanks, my friend. i did a clip featuring the the vypyr 15 (axe of august) - if you turn off the slap back it´s a nice working hard rock sound... cheers & best regards Matt

  • what song is this?

  • Song is "No more Lies" from the album "Mind the Gap". Best regards Matt

  • Absolutely "worth it"! I have the 30, myself.

  • Excellent videos, playing and sounds. I have a vypyr 75 and I'm NOT getting that quality. Mind you I have never been able to turn it up past 2 - even while jamming ;-)

How are you getting such instant switching between patches? I hear a definate half second cut off when I move between patches using the Sampera II

  • Just wanna say that was great to watch. Awesome playing!

  • Matt you are a Metal God. \m/ \m/

  • How can you dislike this guy? His Songs are just awesome and hes awesome aswell .

  • I have the tube 60 and the same guitar, the combo rocks,i also have the esp ltd 1000 with the 60/81 pickups either guitar sounds great with the vypyr

  • Loved this guys vypyr's demo's, I bought the same amp cause of these demo's. Just found out today that he passed away in late 2010. RIP Matthias. You are an inspiration my brother.

  • @PilotGav I think he used the manual mode.

  • ive been looking for a good amp that hold up to metal, came across this. now im buying a peavey vypyr 30 :D

  • I was really saddened to learn that he died recently.I sure enjoyed his vypyr videos and what can be done with them and because of his demos on here,I will be buying a vypyr 60 this christmas and hopefully posting vids on here too...he will be missed for sure :-(

  • @bob300 Save for the 60. The 60 combo has all natural tubes. The 30 is a solid state amp. With tubes you get a punchier clean sound as well as it being more analog. I totally recommend the 60. With solid states you need to turn it up higher to about 6-7 just to play at a gig. With the tubes turning it up to 2-4 will get the entire place rocking.

  • Matt , were all going to miss you. Thanks for the great videos of how the Peavey Vypyrs amps work & sound but most importantly for being the great person that you were. You touch the lives of many people world wide with your music. May you forever rock the heavens!!!! R.I.P.
