Absolutely "worth it"! I have the 30, myself.

Excellent videos, playing and sounds. I have a vypyr 75 and I'm NOT getting that quality. Mind you I have never been able to turn it up past 2 - even while jamming ;-)
How are you getting such instant switching between patches? I hear a definate half second cut off when I move between patches using the Sampera II

Loved this guys vypyr's demo's, I bought the same amp cause of these demo's. Just found out today that he passed away in late 2010. RIP Matthias. You are an inspiration my brother.

I was really saddened to learn that he died recently.I sure enjoyed his vypyr videos and what can be done with them and because of his demos on here,I will be buying a vypyr 60 this christmas and hopefully posting vids on here too...he will be missed for sure :-(

@bob300 Save for the 60. The 60 combo has all natural tubes. The 30 is a solid state amp. With tubes you get a punchier clean sound as well as it being more analog. I totally recommend the 60. With solid states you need to turn it up higher to about 6-7 just to play at a gig. With the tubes turning it up to 2-4 will get the entire place rocking.
