It Is Well With My Soul sung by Chris Rice from the album, Peace Like A River. This is a powerful and beautiful song about the peace that God brings through faith in Jesus Christ The Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach. If you want this peace, just ask God to give it to you and He will.
"It Is Well with My Soul" is a very influential hymn penned by hymnist Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss.
This hymn was written after several traumatic events in Spafford's life. The first was the death of his only son in 1871 at the age of four, shortly followed by the great Chicago Fire which ruined him financially (he had been a successful lawyer). Then in 1873, he had planned to travel to Europe with his family on the SS Ville du Havre, but sent the family ahead while he was delayed on business concerning zoning problems following the Great Chicago Fire. While crossing the Atlantic, the ship sank rapidly after a collision with a sailing ship, the Loch Earn, and all four of Spafford's daughters died. His wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, "Saved alone." Shortly afterwards, as Spafford traveled to meet his grieving wife, he was inspired to write these words as his ship passed near where his daughters had died.
Bliss called his tune Ville du Havre, from the name of the stricken vessel. (Wikipedia)

I would also like to thank you for this post. I come here often when missing my son Pete, who passed away two years ago at 19. The lyrics and story of Horatio Spafford will forever hold a special place in my heart and bring me God's comfort.

Thanks for the witness bobf72450. Yes Corey accepted Christ at the age of fifteen and passed at the age of 23. I know all is well with him, friends and family members have had dreams and reassured me of his well being, it's strange however that I have had maybe two minimal dreams with him in them while other's have really detailed dreams with him conversating through them to his father and I. This world holds no more of my expectations and I can't wait for the rapture! Thank you Jesus.

God is good and waiting to see my son again is the hardest thing in my life. His name is Corey Miller, if anyone has passed away and came back from death to life will you please post for me the good report of what you may have seen in Heaven. I am always preoccupied with what it's like where Corey is.

@bobf72450 I had On Holy Ground by Barbara Striesand and Simple Man by Lynard Skynard played at Corey's funeral 3 years ago. Then a friend of his told me after that Corey liked Barbara and John Denver but to never tell anyone. LOL! So On Holy Ground was appropiate. Yes God love us and I'm sure He grieves with us and like the rest of you I am waiting for the reunion.

@sherri375 There are two people that were close to my son who have had realistic dreams about our son's well being. They have been assured by God that he is well. This comes from knowing God personally through Jesus. For if we believe that Jesus has died and paid for our sins and rose again to life, then He will do the same for us who believe in Him. My son believed in Jesus. Thank the Lord, it is well with my soul. You can make sure your loved ones know Jesus so that you can say that too.

No matter the pain of life Jesus walks us through and strengthens, comforts and gives us peace.Jesus people have an inner assurance and hope from Jesus the ressurection and the Life.

@angelsunawareful Thank you for your note. I could not have survived losing my son if I had not had Jesus to help me through. It is my hope that others will see Him the way I do - a Help in time of Trouble (and all the rest of time also). That's the reason this video is here.
