These uniforms are by Townhill a division of Mens Warehouse.. Its the same company that are currently doing the new uniforms for US Airways. so there are some simularities like the zipper. :-p But we still have the RED SWEATER!!!

LOL..Wow I am glad to here that you all enjoy the new uniforms as much as i do. I also can't wait to where them. I beleive that a uniform does not make me but I it. Those who complain about the uniform will be the ones who look terrible in it becuase that is what they beleive. those who embrace this much needed change and know they look good in what ever they put on will serve this new uniform justice. I love the fact that it has variety for the men now. thank goodness!

if there were no variety, people would complain. now that there is a lot of variety, people complain. in short, people are just going to complain. the passengers do it. the employees do it. passengers are not forced to get on the plane, and we employees are not forced to work here.

Varities doesn't always mean it's a good thing. Uniforms speaks volume and can be an excellent marketing tool! How do you expect NW to stand out from the others with all these varieties? They look a lot like the new US Airways uniforms. Baby blue or royal blue? KLM? I think this change has taken them the other direction. It takes away the classiness out of the current uniforms. It kind of reminds me when the livery of the plane changed. I was like...WOW.

well, there is no guarantee that the govt will approve the merger and no law that says delta MUST combine the two work forces. we COULD still need these uniforms. until the merger happens, all we CAN do is continue to keep our passengers safe and comfortable. any other concerns are petty, really.

do you mean one of our previous uniforms or the current uniform? our current uniform is nice, but we do need a change. so many of us look quite dumpy these days. while many of our flight attendants look like a million bucks, i swear there are some female flight attendants who must not own a hairbrush or mirror!

I meant the most recent f/a uniform. I once wore those uniform with pride for 5 years. you can't fix "some female flight attendants who must not own a hairbrush or mirror!" by changing the uniform. Coaching and progressive discipline will.
On a separate note, the most recent f/a dress is significantly much nicer than the soon to be coorent.
So why doensn't NW consult with high fashion designer as the other major legacy carriers? Are the new uniforms with UTY or Disney?

i do not remember who designed them or who produces them. i am not on the uniform committee. sorry it took so long to approve some recent comments... i was flying.
