@mairead027 I've been told, there are pullbacks in Iriswh Dancing too. Even though I never had to put up with that ...

As an Irish Dancer, I would totally fall on my face if I tried to do that! I'm not used to the feet being so far apart as they are in tap!

....this looks absolutely impossible.
Excuse me sir, may I inquire as to how you defy gravity?

@JumpingJackFlashFG That is definitely a hard. Lots of practice and building strength is required to get this one. I've had a couple of students who could do harder versions such as replacing the pull sound with a wing sound right before the toe-tip, or adding an additional toe-tip. It's amazing what some of the kids today can do.

@musictaps Well I've only been tapping for about a semester now, but it's been kind of an accelerated course.
I'll give it a few years... :P
How long have those mentioned students been tapping?
and one of the TAs for my tap class actually is able to do a pull back and fit 4 sounds on each foot
I love how tap has only a few sounds but it's so complex!

@JumpingJackFlashFG Those students had been tapping for 10+ years. A four-sound pullback on one foot is VERY impressive.
