Car Runs Red Light behind an Ambulance

I was driving on Robert Steet(West St. Paul,MN) and the Emergency Light started to blink on top of the street light(0:10), And so by law, Even on a green light, You have to stop for Emergency Vehicles. So an Ambulance was coming down the road, So I stopped and so did the other cars. Well in the other direction of me. (0:15) An SUV stops short and a car almost rear-ends him while in the next lane, A car passes through the light, cut the Ambulance off(0:19)(You can hear the Ambulance honk at him). Then as the Ambulance goes through the intersection,(0:31) The car right next to me, GOES through the red light. I have crazy things happen to me.

why stop at a green light? i woulda kept goin, but then again i couldnt see what was going on off camera, all i heard were the sirens.

@STREETRACEN4U Once the Alert Light on the street lamp starts blinking, the driver has to look around to see where the emergency vehicle is coming from. If you can see the truck, you a forced to stop on the green by law. Its even in the Drivers Ed Books. Im 21, when I was 15, I had to learn about that.

@45barber1 Minnesota has put these on the street lights years ago. Its an alert system to tell drivers that an Emergency Vehicle is coming, so be perpared to pull over or stop.

@Duckleft Several years ago, I was forced into a snow bank by another driver who tried to hit me. So I wanted something, like a camera, to catch someone who has intention to purposely hitting me. Example: Sitting at a stop light, someone put their car in Reverse and hitting you with their back bumper to your front. By law, bacause you front hit their back, its your fault. If on camera, it will show I did nothing wrong. Thats all.

@joe24chevy hmm thats intresting i never noticed that little light before, your laws must be different then the ones here, u can continue through the light just as long as they are not almost turning around the corner, i never seen a flashing light like that before though. intresting.
