Snuggly birdies

Cherry (green cheek conure) took an instant liking to Rocky (quaker). This is Rocky's third day in our home. Rocky was just three months old when this was taken. They are still the best of friends and love to play together and cuddle at night.

that's like my green cheek, Cheeky, and my Budgie, Lemon Head. lol. they are so cute. Lemon Head is like 2/3 his size it's soo cute.

I was wondering how a quaker parrot would get along with a green cheek. I have a pineapple green cheek and we are wondering to get another.

Hello Animalian, I own a delightful Quaker parrot( green not blue). Quakers like to get alot of attention and will make noise to call their owners if they want attention. Sometimes at random.

Quaker parrots LOVE being petted

Quaker bird are protective over their masters so they are really. Only scared by something sudden and wont go away.

Quakers are pretty smart. If you follow my username you could see mine playing a nintendo ds game. Their pretty good speakers too

How do yours compare in regard to:

The amount of noise they like to make?

The amount and kind of cuddling they like? (head scratch only or belly scratch etc)

Their bravery? I'd like to be able to take it out and about with me and not have it panic.
