if we transported ryu from 2004 to today he would be no1 because of the speed glue :P

@MeckelBot Well, obviously Wang Liqin, Ma Lin and Wang Hao, and probably Boll and Samsonov as well. If we would transport 2004 Ryu into 2010, I would also add Ma Long (obviously) and Zhang Jike, but remove Samsonov.

@MeckelBot That Ryu would be number one and dominate if he consistently played on the Athens 2004 level. He wouldn't. Not even close. I can name 5-7 players who would still be better than him.

Ryu doesn't need an RPB, he has great footwork instead and a very powerful forehand plus very sick backhand blocks
