I don't know if you guys planned this, but moving crates to create barricade or having rooms that you can hide and lock enemies out could be fun. Run and gun in open area can be boring after two or three stages. Anyway I'm glad to see you guys can actually make a video game.

Good idea. Probably will have that in the next game. But for our first game, the AI is very limited in order to keep it simple. So that's why the levels are just open squares, because the enemies don't have pathfinding to walk around objects. We're still gonna mix it up a lot though with the enemies and weapons.
