Every week, somewhere in the world, I solve a mission sent one of my viewers. One of my missions was "bring joy to a child laborer", so I meet a small boy with two blind parents who must shine shoes to support his family, and try to make his day.

The Ryan Estrada Expeditions is a weekly adventure show where I travel the world completing whatever missions people send me on. Some are serious, like this one, some are silly, and others are just ridiculous. Check them out here, or at http://www.ryanestrada.com/expeditions

  • (1) No (2) what? (3) I'll get right on that globalizing capitalist machine thing.

  • OMG! The kid is so stringing you along and you don't even know it? And you act like some hero cuz you bought him some groceries? You sure put your face and name up alot. And that was really creepy the way you tried to sleep over with him, i'm glad his familly didn't let that happen. Really, you come off as stuped and self serving, or worse? You and most people posting here don't understand the boy's situation. Be carefull.

  • I do realize that the part about staying in the house sounds weird, out of context. The plan was that I wanted to do a whole followup episode about the slums, how the people live.

  • @bigfatkittycat have you ever lived in such areas? I guarantee you, it's not creepy at all there: the poorer the families, the more welcome you are. It's an important cultural difference there. Really, even one day of assistance makes a difference that lasts at least in their minds.

To illustrate: I live in Brazil now and the poor people help the slump people here for example taking care of the children they cannot take care of. The poor helps the poorer. Why should the "rich" stay out of this?

  • thanks for the video...keep the good work goin
