what's with her chopping off the end of the words? it sounds really harsh and un-musical
-
She wrote it (it's beautiful), she plays the chords (and they're not all simple ones - I know cause I play them myself), and her pipes give me goosebumps. She is unique and I love her!

The vocals here are pretty rough. She goes off pitch a number of times, and her voice falters. It's frankly a little painful at times.
Michelle is a good vocalist, and I love this song. It's pretty tough for anyone to sing this, with all its high notes, night after night. Still, this isn't very good.

jup she got the pipes , love her songs

the french part is backup. I think it sounds great with it though.
What a gutsy woman! She puts herself right out there in the middle of the stage -- alone -- no backup singers to help her along. She doesn't run from any high notes either, she runs towards them, telling the crowd, "Look, I'm here and I'm going to give you this song straight up, the way you heard it from the studio. No fluff. No lip-synching BS. No dancers. Nothing. Just my voice, do or die, and a few instruments behind me. "
Then she does it. Bam! I'm beyond impressed. I hope you are too.
