@Hoddersrevenge This was the best news channel ever but what happened is so flipping typical of ITV! Whenever ITN bring on a new and exciting project, ITV get their pesky noses in and slap their logo on it and then start to drive it into the ground. The fact it's gone is ITV's fault not ITN. Given the chance, ITN News Channel would have become competitive in the long run to the other news channels. Let's face it - ITV are literally murdering ITN!! I feel sorry for ITN staff, I really do.

I miss the old ITN News Channel, it was alway kept me up to date on what was going on in the world.

Better still, I watch Channel 4 News nowadays.

I liked the channel in the ITN and ITV News era.
They both were much more better than BBC News 24 and Sky News.
Nowadays if I need to watch news, I watch either ITV or Sky. BBC is dull and boring unfortuanatly.

It had a lot of ads for Front Row as it was run in conjunction with NTL. presumably there weren't enough paid for ads so they had to advertise one of their own products

This was such a great news channel until it became the ITV News Channel and ITV slapped on its tabloid style delivery. ITN News was more to the point. more serious, more formal and more authoritative.
