Is this at College and 8th? If it is, the empty building in the background on the upper right hand corner was Vogelzang's Hardware back then; the City Kitchen was across College Ave. In 1976 I was crossing the street and was hit by a car right in front of Vogelzang's. I was hurt very bad but survived. The Dutch are just plain, bad drivers. Tulips are pretty, but reality in America is the same everywhere, if you don't look both ways when crossing the street you may wish you had, or worse.

Holland has a lot of cultures within the city, the reason we have sticks up our Asses is because Holland isnt a super safe city. We have gang problems exc. Heck I work in a hospital in GrandRapids MI that was a few blocks from where we had the mass killings two days ago. It was so bad GR closed down 8 blocks and I couldn't if go to work that day. This is why we have stick up our asses, it isnt safe to be friendly anymore.

Im from the east side of the state but live in Holland, and people over there are way more relaxed, and down to earth. It seems that People in holland either can't speak English, or have a stick up there ass.
