@TheBodyScientist81 what would you say would be the negative results of eating a purely alkaline diet?

@TheBodyScientist81 i was coming to the same conclusion myself, having a balance of both. Though i also believe that as we age our diet should change, as what we do physically changes our diet should change, etc. I wrote down the name of that book as soon as you mentioned it in your vid.
have you heard about eating alkaline vs acidic foods? what do you think? some say you should eat a strictly alkaline diet, which virtually means no meats (which means one would have to get all their 'meat only' nutrients from vitamin capsules/gels) , and this is according to a man who's mother lived in the jungles, a guy named dr.sebi. i agree as it being a possible ideal, as long as one has access to all the right nutrients/recourses, what do you think? alkaline vs, acidic?...

@IsaacKnight07 No I do not agree with eating a 100% alkaline diet. We need both acids and bases in our system but it must be in the right balance. However, one's body can become to alkaline too. Neither extreme is good. Dr. Sebi is great but If you really want to see some impressive work check out the book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by: Weston A.Price, DDS. You can order it cheapily on amazon.com and it will be the best few dollars you ever spent.

I talked about the imporance of fish during pregnancy but I meant to say "seafoods". And what I was saying about babies and children is they need about 2.5 grams of protein per lb of Body weight while adults just need .8 grams per lb of body weight. So the requirement for protein (and fat) is SO much higher in babies and children.
