This is me playing along to Birthday by Kings of Leon from the album Come Around Sundown, which was released last year. I love this song, and i cover it with one of my bands. The main reason for this cover though is to show off my new snare drum - a Tama Warlord Masai (Bubinga) 14x6.5 snare i managed to pick up second hand for a massive bargain. It is Truly beautiful.

@brinleyhall - I have TAMA Elite bubinga kit with Wrlord Masai snare , they are 14 x 6 , no 14 x 6,5 !

@brinleyhall OMG, the kit is sick! Played it in the shop and people were like ""wtf is exploding there!?". The amount of sound and tone it has is unbelievable. So I got it and I want to call in sick for work now... :)

@brinleyhall Thanks man haha, I'm sick of my 13x8 being so ringy, it's a pain to tune it in the studio even with a drum dial it's still ringy, I was looking for a 14x6 snare again after I sold my last one and I'm glad I found your video man, awesome drumming btw

Yup, your snare sounds absolutely amazing! Exactly what I'd like a snare to sound! In fact, the whole Tama Warlord Masai kit sounds amazing... (look up Tama Warlord Drums with Joe Bergamini here on youtube). And I found out they sell one nearby... I fell in love with it, so I am going to get that kit tomorrow. And that's partially YOUR fault! You and your amazingly beautiful snare sound made me decide to go get that entire kit :) Tnx man!

@pescalante2 I think i had a Emperor on it, tuned medium tension, thats all i can tell you really! I just do it by ear.
