BSL PROTEST: Animal Control Shelter & Officers in Brampton

Feb 6th, 2010. Citzens of Brampton protest Brampton's Animal control officers at Brampton Animal Shelter. Dogs being ripped out of responsible loving families because officer's THINK they might have some pit bull characterstisics. NONE of the dogs had shown any signs of aggression.

This protest was set up in just 3 days. Considering, the response was simply AMAZING.

Thank you for all that showed up. I could not because I live 500 miles away but was with you in spirit. People, we can't let this issue fade. I was not aware but am shocked at so many people having gone through their loss the same way. Something has to be done and we have to stick together. Everybody that lost a pet in the same manner should send a picture along with their letter to McGuinty. Wonder what his kids feel about this or do they know what their father did?

My daughter and friend took part in this protest. I have been on twitter spreading the word and recruiting people for the petition and facebook. Please everyone share the video and spread the word. This is very unfair

Brampton Animal Control run around town like the Nazi Gestapo. They constantyl harass pet owners. They're a punch of wantabe cops.

What warriors for the cause, standing out in freezing weather for hours to stand against a bull shit unjust law, that only targets responsible dog owners and incident dogs.
