A version of the slide/bottleneck blues guitar classic "Roll & Tumble Blues" (by Willie Newbern) also sometimes recorded as "Rollin' & Tumblin'". This song was the basis for Robert Johnson's own "Travelling Riverside Blues" and "If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day".

Here it's played on a resonator guitar (a National Reso-phonic ResoRocket) in the key of Open A (Open G capoed at the 2nd fret).

It's a live recording of Acoustic Blues Duo "Steel Union" from Northants area playing at Mi Familia in Stamford on 21/10/2007. Featuring Richard Gibson on blues harp and Richard Turner on National Slide Guitar and Vocals. Visit http://www.steelunion.co.uk for more details.
