I think the two of them did a beautiful job. As to where's Paul? Paul performed with the Beatles on the same show for the same Queen many years ago- remember the famous "Ratlle yer jewelry" comment Lennon made? Paul also played at the Party at the Palace concert for the Queen in 2002. He doesn't even live full time in England- the poor man can't be everywhere. Let's jut be glad for what we got- a great performance of a great song!

I'm thinking why the hell did they do THAT?? The audience is a serious pain in the ass and they didn't need two hundred people on stage... with just Richie + Jon + a guitar + a mike this would have been a magical version, but the people who organized this just ruined it!
