@enkenonsense He apparently struck his head on some steps. This happend on 18 November 2001 in Groningen, the Netherlands, after he had played his set supporting The Waterboys.On arrival at a local hospital, he was found to have lapsed into a coma as a result of severe swelling to the brain. He never regained consciousness and died on 29 November 2001, aged 32.

Mic died 10yrs ago. The frames did a tribute gig for him in vicar st on tuesday 29th november 2011. A very special night. i was there. four and a half hours. look up the videos on tube and a Radharc documentary. it explains his life and what happened. Legend! they busked for years on grafton st. look it up. very special. "corpo99"
