Great! Thanks for posting such a thorough and informative lesson. Your website is great too. I particularly enjoyed the lesson on the painting of the Clematis. If your site didn't say you were from NZ I would have sworn you were Cornish! Thanks again.

do you think it is necessary to draw before you paint or do you just use the drawing as a rough guide line.. im not a great drawer so im wondering as a beginning painter if that will hurt my painting?

I only use a very basic drawing as guide lines, its the painting that counts
