This is a Video story of the Attack on Cassinga by South African Paratroopers on 4 May 1978. This was the largest airborne assault since WWII at the time and was conducted deep inside enemy territory, 300km from the nearest South African Support base.
Apartheid = crime against humanity, just like Fascism (no wonder - people like Botha, and other boer-nationalists were so sympathetic to the Nazi cause, that the pro-British administration of South Africa at that time had to detain them to prevent them from taking pro-Nazi action in SA). The "Cassinga attack" was really a massacre, with some of the victims being pregnant women, but mostly teenagers and all of them were refugees from boer-occupied Namibia at that time. Just to make things clear!

@israelthreatingworld Are you completely retarded, killing civilians, having racism incorporated etc, why do you even support such a rogue regime? Are your perhaps a neo-nazi?
israelthreatingworld 7 months ago
@israelthreatingworld do you know what SA is like today? Calling the old SA state terror? More people have been murdered in the short reign of the supposedly democartic government than under the entire period of National Party reign. Live in South Africa for 20 years and then perhaps you won't make such trivial, poorly informed comments about SA. Besides, this is nothing but a tribute to some great men who fought bravely for their country, why make insulting statments at all?

What a beautiful tribute to brave men who fought and died with honour for their country and their people. Truly heart touching. That trumpet along with the images really resonate within you. I am proud to be South African. Apartheid was wrong but non can judge these men.
