Islam is a way of life, yes. but not a cultural lifestyle?..wrong. Look around you.

Muslims sufferings are due to different things..you mean causes. And one is that they don't adhere to the very essence of islam.. WRONG again !!...the fact that they adhere to the very core of Mohammad's doctrine that drove them backward and made them uncivilized.

to: proud2bmuslim2 - i agree with you when you said Islam is a way of life, but i do not agree with your second claim that it is not a cultural life. Like it or not islam has become a culture to a majority, particularly those living in an islamic country. You said one of the reason many muslim countries have many social/economic problems is bec of the lack of true islam. Shouldn't it be the other way..i mean bec of the fact that they are practicing true islam that made them fell backward?

Ayaan is talking to Muslims like if being a Muslim implies treating your wife badly and being a bad citizen and a xenophobe. Stop projecting your home backwardness on Islam or blame it on it . Islam is a way of life, not a cultural life style. Muslim countries have many social and economic problems due to different things (one of them is the lack of true Islam). One more thing when you wonna use something as an argument, look at its contexte.
