  • Your brute strength is unqueastionable; but you lack some technique in the overhead press. Try standing a little wider and get more drive from your legs through your hips. Also try to stick your head "forward" when pressing (underneath the bar), that`ll align the bar more with the center of your body. Also, practice dipping under the bar.

You`re a monster, and can overhead press a car with the right technique, I`m sure! Good luck and keep lifting, buddy!

  • @SPAREnoEV1L The reason strongmen use this technique is because they usually have to lift an axle, not a typical plate loaded barbell. An axle is 1 solid piece and the weights can not roll. Look at Koklyaev, he can clean and jerk over 500lbs but can't even clean a sub-400lb axle in 1 motion cause it's just not possible.

  • @Metallkongen LOL ur giving advice to someone who competes in worlds strongest man sat behind a computer lmao.

  • The Continental gained a reputation as clumsy, slow, and nonathletic compared to the swift coordinated movement required to lift the bar "clean."

  • @SPAREnoEV1L ...he is doing a continental, not an oly lifting clean.

  • You are a beast for lifting this and especially going for that second attempt!

  • @Metallkongen why are you telling somebody who's competed in the WSM how to lift?

  • i would try and look for some Olympic Weightlifting training there they will teach you the proper technique to get that weight on your shoulders using less then half the energy your using there :) google it you will see what i am talking about :)

  • Good try. That'sa lot of weight.

  • AWESOME

  • @sethbaylock If im not mistaken Tom Platz is another great example of incredible flexibility. The dude could do full splits and had some of the best wheels of all time!
