Belt CP RC heli took a nosedive into a gust of wind. Didn't help that I'm new to the hobby and haven't developed the instinctive reflexes yet. Damage was canopy, stock wooden blades, one stock servo, flybar, and flybar case. Looks worse than it was, which - sadly - I'm getting used to.

  • Keep at it, Im sort of getting there! One expensive hobby eh?

  • I bought TONS of spares before I ever got it off the ground, so I'm not "feeling" the cost so much 'cause the money's already out of my pocket. ;-) Happy landings!

  • outch do the servo's break fast??

i cant wait till i can order mine one the seller says the belt cp rotor spins with such a forch that anny blades will break :(

  • It's a great heli, no doubt. If it's your first, be SURE to spend time on a simulator with your actual remote control. It'll save LOTS of time, money, and frustration in repairs. The stock servos do break relatively easily from what I'm told. Blades are hit or miss, honestly. I've had heavy landings kill and set, and full on crashes where there's no damage at all. Good luck!

  • Sounded really windy dude....did you break anything?

  • Yeah, definitely too windy for a beginner. Damage was canopy, stock wooden blades, one stock servo, flybar, and flybar case.

  • Warum hebst du denn das rechte Bein beim Landen wer hat dir das denn gezeigt...

  • @lordlapswans ...Ahhh, this is true.

  • it whas not the wind , its whas pilot error

don't use the rudder when learning how to hover , only to bring the tail back , most crashes are from to mutch rudder ,becouse the rudder changes the pitch of your heli , by turing you heli you pointed it to the ground whit nose in !!! thats asking for a crash

  • Hey, VemdettaNY,

Man, I *love* the body english when it crashes. Nice to see I'm not the only one who does that!

  • try and keep the tail facing you for at least a couple of months...

  • keep at it m8.....
