In the early 1970s the german electronic organ (and DIY-Kit) manufacturer Dr. Boehm introduces the brand new electronic drums and 1-finger-auto-accompaniment "Boehmat".
It was additional offered in this free-standing version then called "Boehmat Compact".

  • Very interesting as I also seen another type like it from Wersi early analog organs.

  • @patsaxon At the same time - about 1972 - Wersi offered a simply forerunner of the well-known Wersimatic II.

It was called just 'Wersimatic'. The electronic boards had already plug-in-cards design, but the sound was rather weak, not as good and expressive as from the Böhmat Compact.

In the same optical appearance like the Böhmat Compact, the first Wersimatic was also offered in a free-standing box with 35W-amplifier and loudspeaker 30W, this very rare version was then called 'Wersimatic WM9'

  • Love it! Notice the same supplier for Marshall guitar amps- same knobs and same mustard capacitors, although the caps look like a later rolled & chopped versions. I would maybe even trade you something I have that is just as rare and cool. Are you you considering selling or trading?
