Are you talking about the Hiwassee in GA? I have fished it, beautiful water. I don't think that $30 per year would keep me off of that water! There are some great places there. I hope that things change for you, so you can get back to it! DP

i quit fishin the hiwassee, for now, they went up on non resident license from 51 to 81 dollars, im very limited in that dept,, thanx, i fished there since 1971, an always did good,.

Perhaps you should try fishing smaller water, and I say this with as much respect as I can. Most of the Big Hole River cannot be fished wading, it is just too deep, and inaccessible. I know that there are places on the Hiwasse that boats cannot go, you should check them out. DP

sure its nice,, yeah yeah, i hate when im fishin the hiwasse an these guys come down the river castin right where i am, i cast from the bank must be about 70 feet or so, an here they come in these dang boats , thinkin well hes bank castin, well peace is hard to come by sometimes,, .

Yeah, he kinda does! LOL! Saying that though, he is one of the nicest human beings that I have ever met! And what a great fish that was huh? Now if I can just convince him to throw that storm Trooper hat away! Have fun in fly fishing dude, and thanks for the comment!
