Fidayeen Attack on Lal Chowk

The 24hr long fierce gunbattle ended on Thursday after the security forces shot dead two militants holed up in a hotel in Srinagar's Lal Chowk.
A senior police official involved in the operation has confirmed that the security forces have managed to eliminate both the militants in the crucial stage of their final assault in Srinagars Lal Chowk area.
