@CalfeeTetra Agree with you totally. I caught the Plasmatics several times one memorable winter around 1982. Wendy was indeed a very sweet and even timid person. She was embarassed to hear compliments. What she did on stage was not exactly an act, but she had to get herself up for it and she took on a role that maybe presented her inner self wanting to be free and to speak for others who were repressed by social constraints. Wow, that sounded very professorial, sorry about that. She was unique.

I had the opportunity to see them four different times and each time they kicked ass. I also met Wendy, and she was one of the sweetest persons you could ever meet.They by far are one the greatest punk bands ever.
