Freedom to Believe (Apostasy in Inslam)

Is there really no compulsion in Islam? If there is no compulsion then why did Mohammad order the deaths of apostates numerous times in the hadith? What kind of "religion" still practices the murder of apostates in this day and age? The murder of apostates is undeniably part of the Sunnah of the prophet and any weak attempt by Islamic apologists to say all the many verses in the hadith are automatically corrupted are just pathetically trying to defend their death cult . Can a religion which still practices the murder of apostates in some countries really be compatible with democracy? With human rights? I think not!

more and more I am thinking that Islam was inspired by Satan and that he disguised himself as Gabriel in that cave where Mohamed received his revelations even Mohamed had his doubts about the identity of the entity taking possession of him in the cave.

The disbelievers are an open enemy to you. 4:101

They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve ... take them and kill them wherever ye find them. 4:89

(9:80) "Though thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger."

God will not forgive disbelievers, so don't ask.

Allah does not love.

Allah loveth not the disbelievers. 3:32

He loveth not the disbelievers. 30:45

The disbelievers are an open enemy to you. 4:101

Christians for friends. ... He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. 5:51

Do ye give them friendship when they disbelieve? 60:1

In war with idolaters, do unto them as they do unto you.

(9:39) "If ye go not forth He will afflict you with a painful doom."

If you refuse to fight, Allah will afflict you with a painful doom.

(9:73) "Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end."

Be harsh with them. They are all going to hell anyway.

(9:23) "Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith." Don't be friends with disbelieving family members. Those who do so are wrong-doers.
