This is a beautifully preserved late 70's early 80's era CCC/Maxon MSL collecting greens in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. This truck was probably one of the most amazing looking trucks I've seen in a long time, complete with tag axle. The driver was a bit apprehensive about me taking video and pictures of him. However I was able to capture a little footage.

  • What warranted the tags this driver put on the bins in both those stops?

  • Looks as if it was newly painted, As EDCo is starting To Repaint their Fleets.

We Need to Start gettting more of these trucks Before they start going to Automated Greens

    nice post.!

  • @r6man2 Why would you ask that when you're so savvy with Google Maps?? lol It's basically Encinitas, southwest of Escondido but on the coast

  • Yeah these trucks come from a yard in San Marcos! They are very cool looking with that style of covered hopper. I got about 30 minutes of M340, a truck just like this, doing greens not too long ago. What's neat is that even though they all look identical, there are no two of these trucks with the same engine sound :D Thanks for the post

  • Nice truck, if EDCO ever gets rid of these I want one.

  • man this thing looks new. Did Maxon ever produce an ASL with barn style doors?

  • Awesome find!

  • Great find! Please don't tell me that those orange tags said that automated yard waste was coming.

  • nice

  • Truck is beast.
