COBURWAS (standing for Congolese, Burundese, Ugandan, Rwandan, Sudanese) is a club in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda. They promote education and fundraise by offering services such as digging and filling potholes, and then put the money back into the community through their projects. They have a tutoring program, rent out a hostel for students in a nearby town to stay in, and are now constructing an orphanage in Kyangwali (a project supported by Think Humanity (www.thinkhumanity.org)). Educate! provides for the education of many COBURWAS leaders (www.educateafrica.org). This is part of their choir, which is directed by Yaya Donald, singing a song about Northern Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
