I haven't cried at a movie since Titanic and I Wanna Be Happy (filipino film).

I cried at the scene when Celie hugs Adam and Olivia.




Nettie was blind there? Why was she feeling Celie's face???

What a beautiful film. Takes a lot to make a grown man cry. But in all fairness to Danny Glover, he did go on to redeem himself and become a hero in Lethal Weapon 1-4. Beautiful story. Just beautiful.

I have this movie on video tape. Unfortunately, when the movie was done, I tried rewinding it, and the tape wouldn't move; only to find out that my vcr ate it at the end. Now, I'll need to get the dvd.

Actually, it's the same actress portraying both the younger and older Nettie.

too good.I cried :( Whoopi, Oprah, everyone was too good. Loved it and I want to pick up the book now.
