This is my cover to the solo of "Alive", a classic Pearl Jam song.
"Alive" was this band's first single, and appeared on the band's debut album, Ten (1991).
Although the album's follow-up singles would be more successful, "Alive" was nevertheless important cuz it brought the attention to the band.
This song grew on me since I listened to it for the 1st time.
The solo shocked me too, it was just awesome.
Its a technically easy tune, but as my friend Dave says: "Sometimes it's the simplest songs that feel the best".

Note: I used a Cry Baby connected between the guitar and the zoom pedal.
Turned the wah ON and used it during the solo.

a month ago i thought this solo was impossible, but i've been practicing and now i can play it perfectly, i learnt it by watching this video! thanks gewerh44!

well, its a very simple solo, took me maybe a couple of days to figure out and practice it.
Ive been playing for 6 years now.
Im sure youre able to learn this solo.
