*Lots of kids listened to the melvins only to make their parents angry, and lot of slipknot fans were just newbies in metal and just enjoyed this extreme sound.

*"little musicianship or skill" We all know that this is not the problem, like in bands like avenged sevenfold. They know the technics and are allways clean in live.

Slipknot's music is made to sell to little kids who ride to the mall in their mommy's mnivns and shop at hot topic who listen to it because it makes their parents angry, thats pop music, no art, no to very little musicianship or skill, just bang out a few chords and curse and yell over them.
