@poweredbydrums how does one just borrow a marimba? lol

Over time people learn a better grip for themselves...
Of course you need a tight fulcrum when you play snare, but I have a loose-ish grip when I play mallets. I'm a 3-year all-region first chair percussionist, sooo.

What piece is this?
I've never heard it and it sounds like more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

lovely. i just played that earlier today lol i was tryin to remember it. that was a peice i used to audition for some classes in florida, they liked it too.

better than I could do IF I ever paid attention to region. My teacher made us play the rhythm on pads and then sent us off to region. Yeah... never doing that again. Good playing!

it was pretty good.
watch how you hold your mallets.
it looks like you're choking up on them a little bit.
but it could jut look that way because of the video.
and squeze the mallet at the fulcrum between the thumb and the index finger.
but once again you could be already doing that, I just can't see it that well.
over all great job(:

haha I wish it was all mine but its not. the timpani were from my high school. The marimba in the back was from mine too, but it sucks, so I used some connections to borrow a better marimba from another school.
