More timing work this week. I forgot to mention that part of what I learned from taking Alexander Technique lessons was that precision and speed don't need to be associated with muscle tension. I've been reversing that trend in myself in and it's really paying off!

I kept messing around with that little tune I started to play in the video with the chords and I got it in time and even expanded on it a little. I had a great time experimenting with it and seeing where it could go. Lots of fun. :)

Also, my next Stick entered production! Why do I need another Stick when I can barely play this one? Well, I don't, of course! But I want to have it for when I am ready. The next one will be very different - an SG12 in mirrored 4ths piano tuning. I'm really excited for it as I'm looking forward to playing music written for piano and it should fit the bill nicely. It gives up almost an octave on the low end (Major 7th compared to a 36" Stick, a minor 7th compared to the 34" models like my current one) but it has the largest range of any Stick - a minor 2nd short of 5 octaves! Can you tell I'm excited? :-)
