Episode 4A+B "Evacuation Zone & Day of the Angel Party" documents my trip to the evacuation zone as well as our party for disabled children. Part 4 of 12 of my travels to the area of Belarus most affected by the Chernobyl disaster - 20 years later.

  • Thank you for uploading this video. It makes me realize how spoiled as an American I am. I am thankful for living in the US, but more thankful that you guys do these philanthropic things. God bless you.

  • Thanks for your comments.

  • I so want to go and meet the people over there and see the children esp. the special ones like in this video. They are so beautiful! I would love to be able to visit Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, and other such areas affected by the Chernobyl Disaster. I have a friend in Russia but she does not speak English (can write some only) and I can not speak Russian but I would love to meet her. Maybe one day :). You've done great things. Many thanks.

  • @kilinlevi I believe a lot has improved for social orphans in your country. But we can all do our bit by volunteering locally. The Canadians need to inspire Belorussians to help their most vulnerable citizens. I think the Communist era lost the concept of citizenship and looked upon people as objects (rather like a Sociopath does).

  • heh, I live in Sweden wich is less than 786 miles to Belarus. We are just as spoiled as USA, to think such a poor country would be less than doorstep away.

This series of films are real inspiring and intressting. God bless you Eric and everyone else in the world who are actually making a difference for nations like this.

  • me too

  • Dude you rock, thanks for all your hard work. God Bless you.

  • I graduated high school in 1986. I remember when this happend. I was so afraid of the radiation cloud reaching us.
