@bittyrock If you're an actual Marine veteran, thank you for your service and all that you've done to accomplish what you have. As a 19-year-old, I believe that the youth in America could use a wake-up call to improve their attitude: "Men and women don't go overseas, fight and die for our freedom, to come home and see Americans fighting each other." It's a disgrace how we treat each other so hatefully, and I think veterans -- those passed away and serving today -- deserve better at home.

Ironic how the neocons profess support for our troops...but they hardly get involved with them unless it's for a photo op, have usually never been involved in actual military service themselves and are the ones who put them in the line of fire to begin with...it's very clear, they don't give a damn about the troops!

Republicans think all that is needed to prove their patriotism is to "have friends who have served". These sissies and punks are the same people who talk tough as long as someone is near who will step in front of them when aggressions begins towards them. To call them chickenhawks does a disservice to cowards. The most they can be depended to do is say "I heard a bell"!
