What a performance this Bristol driver gave on these Brush type 4 Class 47 locomotives, owned by Riviera Trains, 47839 'Pegasis' and 47805 'Talisman' are seen Double heading 'The Severn Valley Explorer' from Carlisle to Bristol Temple Meads.
The Class 47s were thundering around Bristol all afternoon for various reasons.
We first see the tour approach Bristol with 1Z68
The 47s then run light to Bedminster to run around the ECS. The ECS was supposed to be taken by EWS Class 66 66227 to Bristol East depot, but it's gone 'Bang!'.
The 47s then back onto the Stock
They then take it to Bristol East Depot.
Then they return to Temple Meads with the ECS
Again they run around the stock, then back onto it before Double Heading 1Z69 back to Carlisle
The driver was really enjoying his experience driving these duffs, he Thrashes, Clags and 2tones on most clips, deafening Bristol!
Top man! A certain Mr Matthews.. Legend!
