I have an audience recording of this exact live version on cassette tape (complete with the feedback in the beginning) given to me by an old Head who ran a Dead show at a bar in Pittsburgh. However, the tape says 10/12/84, 2nd set, Augusta Maine, civic center. Between Saint of Circumstance and Uncle John's Band.

@homebrewdUb You know... all you folks that mentioned Augusta ME are right! For heaven's sake... i converted some old audio tapes, a few years back, and yes... my wires crossed and so did the info i first posted. So sorry about that! Brain brain went away

some heads disliked this tune but I thought it was pretty cool. also,it brought out Brent's true often time blue moods. great blues licks from Jer. thx WEIR4EVER !

Thank you. Brent sure did shine. I think this song expresses something quite universal, in the sense that a lot of us have had moments when we felt the same feelings ... for 'a week or a month or a year' lol

Thanks for the comments and kind thoughts.. yeah.. Steve Keyser,. that short kid that did the flyers, I can't remember his name but he was a trip lol.... I still have a bunch of those.. The Saloon, (Grant Av & Fresno Alley).. Miss Keiko at the Chi Chi club, Full Moon Saloon, New Georges, Café Caberet in Cotati. Bouncers bar on Townsend, Terry & The PIrates, ZERO, San Francisco All Stars.. hanging out backstage with the 'refreshments'.. John was the greatest, GG Bridge 50th anniv was exclnt

The short guy w flyers i think was name Mike. Sure was a trip lol he seemed lore like a sports fan in some ways, when he went around w his flyers ... on a 'mission from god' too! Was quite a cast we had goin' lol!
