Wow man thats quite impressive, I just bought a 94 Gt wondering what kind of kit should i buy for it?, Im ready man, probes are rare out here and im ready to blow away these POS mustangs.. lol

@westpalmgt yooo question for where can i find abetter mass air flow for my probe im boosting it with a turbonetics t3/super 60 trim with a complete bottom end build forged pistons and rings and im gonna ms it does that eliminate the maf and where can i find ti valves and springs for probes

the CR isn't the Achilles Heel of the ZE, it's the valve retainers. they tend to drop valves past 7000 rpm. Beefy valve springs or upgraded retainers seems to resolve this issue.
most modern cars run 10:1 or better CR.

what kind of setup do you have? de or ze? i wish mine was that fast im probably at 215 whp right now but ive heard klzes are prone to blow because of the 10:1 compression ratio. whats done to yours?

@91ProbeLX , yup this was my 96 Ford Probe GT on 14lbs of boost. Stock block with a junkyard motor and a ebay turbo kit. Tuned with a meagsquirt

How is it possible to run 14 lbs much less 18 lbs on suck a high compression ratio? Did you make a head spacer or something to decrease the natural compression? i was thinking about using several head gaskets and a copper sealer between each layer to space mine. If there is a better way please let me know before I blow my baby up!! PGT for life!

@didgemonster The stock head gasket is realy realy strong in the ford probe. You can make 550 plus without touching it. Im using megasquirt and my car was tuned to run 14lbs. IMO the max whp you can get out of a stock block is 345. It would be safer with 300 but I ran 14lbs for yr plus. It wasnt till I tried 16lbs I started to get into trouble. Then when I tuned it for that and on a cold night overboosted to like 20 it went kaboom!

@kc550 Yes this was from a 98 stock block and heads junk yard milinea motor I got for 120 bucks. This car is no longer around due to a fire but the one im building now is going to be better and faster. It may have a built block but for the 1st few months ill be pushing on a stock KLDE block with 11k miles.
