When square meets hip!
Shorty Petterstein
Petterstein was the comic creation of San Francisco producer Henry Jacobs, who had a big part in assembling the incredible array of jazz, folk, Latin, and spoken word talents released by Fantasy Records in the 1950s. On "The Weird, Wide Wonderful World of Shorty Petterstein," Jacobs adopted the persona of Shorty Petterstein.

To Jazz musicians this makes perfect sense and is really historically very accurate, not to mention culturally sensitive and motivation-wise spot-on. In a word; Hip!
Freedom is typified in jazz music and it is said that talking about music is like dancing about architecture. This notion created jazz-speak and this video is a beautiful example of this, not to mention entertaining and funny. Bravo.
