From Hello Rockview, enjoy =)

Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.

And just outside I can hear the sound,
of the early morning street,
becoming way too loud.
Yea the hum, of the engines in the cars,
on the street, Yea.
On the street.

And with this cigarette that I just lit,
as I passed the 53rd Street bridge.
Right now the world just seems too big,
the world just seems to big.

Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.

And just outside, I can see my breath,
in between the words,
that fog my spinning head.
And I can see the sun coming up,
and its just light enough to see.

Another cigarette that I just lit,
as I passed the 53rd Street bridge.
Right now the world just seems too big,
the world just seems to big.

Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.

Sit down,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Sit down, (remind me how),
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Growing up and getting lost.

And all the late-night calls,
with all the lost hopes.
And all the missed connections (connections!).
And the lost directions.

Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Sit down, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.

Sit down,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.
Down-own, remind me how,
this is the same old story
of growing up and getting lost.

  • This album is like a nostalgia time bomb. I just listened to it for the first time in ten years and realized that I've just stayed in the same place and done nothing with my life... just like in these songs. I should have listened harder...

  • When these guys came to bristol, with one statement that managed to completel disrupt the carling academy they we're at.

"Stay after the gig, all the bars will be giving free drinks and we'll be drinking with ya"

Of course... that people behind the bars had no idea what to do.

This song is in my top 5 fav songs ever ^^

  • That fog my spinning head...

  • @danthropomorph humans have to experience something to know its bad. As kids and teenagers we think were cool that were listening to someone whos got real problems and issues, we might think were listening and taking notes but we really dont, as kids of that generation we were naive and too happy hyped up on red bulls, hooch and skateboards letting hottest girls weve ever known slip through our fingers, to listen to good advice. the most we can do is write music and hope the next lot DO listen.

  • The dynamics in this song are incredible! The tempo change, the aborted pause on the a cappella part. I've been listening to the LTJ youtube playlist, popping the songs like jelly beans, but this one stopped me in my tracks. :D

  • I think this is in Tony Hawk's Underground.

  • This band is awesome!

  • How can anyone dislike a song by Less Than Jake?

  • who dislikes this lol

  • @danthropomorph if I didn't know better, I would have assumed I wrote your message. I had this cd when it first came out and I am now re-listening to it. Except history of a boring town and nervous in the alley. I never stopped listening to those two.

  • @danthropomorph i can completely relate. i used to listen to these songs religiously when i was 13ish now im 21 and not a fucking thing has changed. we should've taken it as a warning...heres to less than jake... they know what its like to be me.

  • @danthropomorph i am the same as i was in like 5th grade apparently. this shit rules too hard, i cant believe how little has changed and how many years have gone by.
