The space shuttle Atlantis has blasted off with seven astronauts on its last and most ambitious mission to service the Hubble space telescope.
The shuttle lifted off from Nasa's Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Monday afternoon, heading into orbit 350 miles above the planet.
I cant believe this is the last mission for Atlantis. I regret so much that I could not have seen it, I live in Australia so its pretty tough to get to the US..
Beautiful, wonderful launch, fantastic shuttle, I will see it someday, but unfortunatly it will be in a museum somewhere.
Wish the crew has a safe return to earth.
